Standards
Founder’s BICSc Licence to Practice, valid to August 2029. Documented inspections scored against your specification.
Licence to Practice
The professional cleaning qualification covering safe working practice, risk assessment, electrical safety, and the correct handling of equipment and chemicals. It is assessed against a written standard rather than awarded on attendance.
We are precise about this on purpose. The Licence to Practice is held by an individual, not by a company, so Cleanfinity does not claim accreditation at company level, and does not display the BICSc mark. What it means in practice is that the standard our operatives are trained and checked against is a published external one, and the person who owns that standard here sits on your site. The certificate is in our compliance pack.
We carry public liability insurance. The certificate — insurer, cover level and expiry — is provided before the first visit and is available on request at any time. We do not publish cover figures on this page, because they change at renewal and a stale number is worse than no number.
What happens when something is wrong.
This is the part most suppliers leave vague, which is exactly why it is the part worth writing down.
You raise it
To one named contact — the person who walked your site and wrote your specification. Not a call centre and not a ticket queue.
It is logged with a time
The time it was raised is recorded against the site, not remembered.
It is resolved, and that is logged too
The resolution and its time sit on the same record, so response times are a fact rather than a promise.
It is reviewed
Issues and resolutions are part of the regular review against your signed specification.

BICSc Licence to Practice
Held by our founder and valid to August 2029. It covers safe working practice, risk assessment, electrical safety and the correct handling of equipment and chemicals. Our operatives are trained on the same standard.
Real London Living Wage
£14.80 an hour to every member of our team from August 2026 — the independently calculated rate. We are not accredited by the Living Wage Foundation and do not claim to be. We pay the rate.
DBS checked
Every person attending your site is DBS checked before their first visit. Not on a rolling basis, not after a probation period — before.
COSHH controlled
Products, storage, handling and training run to our published COSHH Policy. Data sheets for every product used in your building are kept on site, where the people using them are.
Risk assessments and method statements
Written for your site rather than a template with your name typed into it, and issued before we attend.
Directly employed
No agency labour and no subcontracted cleaning on contract accounts. It is the decision the rest of this page depends on.
