01What we clean outside, and what we do not

We clean hard surfaces, outdoor furniture and upholstery, thresholds, door tracks, entrances and terraces.

We do not do grounds maintenance, planting or landscaping. We stopped offering it in August 2026 because it was not what we were good at, and we would rather point you to someone who does it properly than take it on badly.

We are telling you what we do not do on a page designed to sell what we do. That is deliberate — the alternative is you finding out on the day.

02Weathered is not the same as finished

Algae, organic staining and ingrained dirt read as damage from ten feet away. Most outdoor upholstery and frames are structurally fine underneath. What has failed is the surface, and surfaces are recoverable.

On a City roof terrace last summer the client had already priced a full replacement furniture set. Restoration came in materially under it, took three operatives one visit, and kept a usable set of furniture out of a skip.

03Timing is most of it

Spring, before the season the space is meant to be used in. Algae and organic growth build over winter, and clearing them in March gives you the whole summer. June is usually a scramble, and drying time is less predictable than people expect.

Inside a contract this sits as periodic works — scheduled, budgeted, and done without anyone having to raise a purchase order.

04The safety argument nobody makes until afterwards

Algae on a hard surface is slippery when wet, and a slip on a commercial premises is a liability question rather than an inconvenience. Cleaning entrances and thresholds on a schedule is cheaper than the alternative and considerably cheaper than the claim.
